Photographs of this Weekend with new Canon Lenses

This past weekend was fantastic. Not only did my husband gift me with the perfect canon lenses for my photography hobby, this horse is seeing my joy of taking his picture. The reflection of his eye says it all. Come on girl, you can do it. Take a picture of the beautiful me. The Canon lenses are perfect; a 100-300mm zoom lens with stabilizer and a true Macro 100mm lens.

The Duelin Dukes

Can you believe this? The other day, Jerry and I took a jeep ride and there were two male turkeys duking it out. They kept fighting in the midst of the median highway. Here's a pic as they were counting to 10 before dukin it out again for the next round.

The Night Owl Watching

Another site with this creature. My attempt of taking a photograph is nothing but the best in my dreams to remember.

An amazing sight in the distance which I have been attempting to capture for weeks. It is all in the eyes of an owl who made a home on our property several years ago. Her mate is somewhere's in the distance. They are beautiful and amazing creatures. My challenge is to get as close as possible and see those eyes even closer. Up Close and Personal. Every day is an adventure as I look for the opportunity to capture the watching night owl of the towering pines.
